Fly back in time to historic tea dance

MOSI’s Air & Space Hall will be transformed into an elegant 1940s-style tea dance, as part of the Manchester-wide Full of Life Festival (28 September – 10 October). Guests to the free event are invited to drift back in time to the age of flight, as some of Manchester’s aviation pioneers tell their stories over afternoon tea and dancing to Big Band music.

The Museum is hoping to include the missing bell in an event on 14-16 August, to celebrate 100 years since the Beyer-Garratt locomotive was developed at the factory.
