Three Wine Men bring taste wisdom to Manchester

Three Wine MenCelebrity wine aficionados Tim Atkin, Olly Smith and Oz Clarke will hold a weekend of wine tasting, cookery classes, demonstrations and discussions at MOSI next weekend (1-2 October 2011). The three men are all famous for their passion for wine, which they have enthused about on TV, radio and in print.

Now, in Three Wine Men they come together to meet fellow wine lovers to enthuse about wine, dispel common wine myths and train taste buds to spot the difference between a Sauvignon Blanc and a Riesling. The Three Wine Men event includes an opportunity to chat to Olly, Oz and Tim, 500 wines to taste and many to buy, cookery masterclasses, face-to-face meetings with winemakers, glassware demonstrations, and more.

MOSI Director Tony Hill said: "I'm delighted to welcome Tim, Olly and Oz to MOSI. MOSI is about making scientific processes fun and accessible to all and what could be better than learning about making and tasting wine from the real experts."

Tickets are available from www.threewinemen.co.uk

Creativetourist.com, with its mix of exclusive features, interviews, arts news and city guides, allows readers to discover more about what's happening in the city, uncover its outstanding cultural programme and collections, and perhaps come to be as passionate about Manchester as its inhabitants.
