The £9m redevelopment of MOSI's Great Western Warehouse is expected to achieve a BREEAM 'Very Good' rating, with a score of 56.36%, as the table of statistics below shows. This information can also be found in the downloads section on the right hand side of the page.

|
As a Grade II Listed Building, the key to the project has been to retain as much of the existing building and its character as possible to minimise the environmental impact of the scheme. The project is also designed using the latest high-efficiency technologies for mechanical and electrical services. |

Innovative Construction |
All waste generated on site is to be recycled, using a combination of separation on site and separation by the Waste Management Contractor. Temporary hoardings between working areas and galleries are to be constructed to limit noise transfer and ensure the comfort of visitors. |
