To find out about items in the Ferranti Collection, use the Collections online searchable database. You are likely to find the 'Search' and 'Research' options more useful than the 'Browse' option, which is intended for users with more general interests. The 'Research' option gives you more ways of narrowing your query to find specific items.

If you enter '1996.10' in the Registration Number field, you will get a list of objects in the Ferranti Collection, while entering 'A1996.10' will produce a list of archives in the Ferranti Collection. However, this will exclude Ferranti items that the Museum acquired separately. To identify all items associated with Ferranti, type 'Ferranti' in the Association Name field. You can narrow your query by adding any details that define your particular interest, such as a date range or product type, in the appropriate fields.
