Launched in February 2009 with a small sample of oral histories, this feature of our website allows us to make extracts of our collection of oral history recordings readily available. You can access the audio files and related information in three ways:
Latest stories - you can choose one of the most recently added oral histories by clicking on the interviewee's image.
Search by theme - if you're interested in a particular theme, such as childhood or the work environment, choose the relevant term and you'll get a list of all available oral histories related to that theme.
Advanced search - this search form allows you to select oral histories according to one or more search categories, including date and place.
