All workshops will:

• offer practical ideas and approaches to help teachers develop self-guided sessions
• be limited to 20 places
• take place from 3.00pm to 5.00pm with refreshments available from 2:30pm

ITT and INSET at MOSI

We can offer sessions for students or school staff on the following:

• an overview of the Museum's historic site and galleries
• the work of our education service
• information about our programme for primary schools
• learning science at the Museum
• tours of galleries or classrooms
• advice on using the Museum with school groups

Options range from lecture-style presentations for large groups of students on a specific topic through to one-day inset sessions for the staff of a whole school on a variety of topics.

We can normally offer short presentations free but charges apply to tours and longer (i.e. half-day or whole day) sessions. Contact us for more information on charges.

Our Conference team can also arrange catering for groups. Typical charges are approximately £2.50 per person for tea/coffee and approximately £7.00 per person for lunch. (Drinks, snacks and meals are also available from our Restaurant.)
