KS2 Cross-curricular

Cross-curricular sessions for KS2:

  • cost £3.50 per pupil (Minimum group charge of £70.00*)
  • are led by a Museum Education Officer
  • last 1 hour
  • are closely linked to the National Curriculum
  • include hands-on practical activities
  • can be booked for classes of up to 30 children 

*There is no minimum group charge for special needs groups

Print on cotton fabric using our unique historic blocks.

Learn about the textile printing industry, dyes and fabrics.

Each child will need to bring an old, plain T-shirt to print on.

Paper RecyclingPaper Making

What is paper? How is paper made? Who invented it? The children make their own recycled sheet of paper by hand using a mould and deckle.
