STEMNET

Main Page LogoThe Museum of Science & Industry is pleased to confirm that we have agreed new arrangements with STEMNET, with effect from 1 July 2011, to manage the Schools STEM Advisory Network and STEM Ambassadors Programme for the Greater Manchester area.

As STEMNET contract holders, we will keep schools in Greater Manchester informed about high-quality activities they can access to enrich and enhance the STEM curriculum and enable them to use a range of STEM Ambassadors so that teachers can incorporate into their teaching exemplary links to the world of work.

STEMNET works primarily with schools and colleges, helping young people and their teachers access a range of STEM Enhancement & Enrichment opportunities including STEM Clubs, links with STEM Ambassadors and activities featured in the STEM Directories.

Teachers can contact us for free advice on STEM Enhancement & Enrichment (E&E), and assistance in identifying what STEM E&E can most benefit them and their students. By working with local experts, we can provide tailored advice and assistance quickly and easily to schools and colleges in our area.
