Imagine, build, craft, play and make at the third Manchester Mini Maker Faire. Join the maker revolution as hobbyists, inventors, hackers and crafters take over the museum.

From bug house construction and hack spaces, to walking robots and an orchestra of soft toys, kids of all ages will be inspired to get creative and join the Maker revolution.

Try your hand at programming in binary then upload your code onto our replica of the Baby, the world's first stored programme computer. Tweet to move George the robot around the museum and take photos, witness an interactive space tracker or craft yourself a miniature Victorian building.

Most workshops are free, although some Makers will charge for the cost of materials. Workshops are operated on a drop-in basis, apart from the Incredible Inks workshop which you must book on the day.

The Manchester Mini Maker Faire is part of our imagine it, make it, move it summer season of fabulous family events.
